About RCCG Australia Pacific
The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Australia/Pacific (RCCG Australia/Pacific) is a functional part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) - a global Church with Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye as its General Overseer and International Headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God in Australia/Pacific started as house fellowships in 1999, with one house fellowship in Victoria and another one in Western Australia. The Victorian house fellowship started with two families (Babatunde and Bunmi Adebayo, Anthony and Caroline Olukowajo). The House fellowship grew and by the end of 1999, three other families had joined the group. The five families started a formal RCCG fellowship which later became a parish of the RCCG. In Western Australia, the house fellowship (started by Reginald and Mabel Mbah) also grew and became a parish of the RCCG. In 2001, both the Victoria and Western Australia parishes were inaugurated by the General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor E A Adeboye.
The church has continued to grow in leaps and bounds. To the glory of God, the RCCG now has Parishes across Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands/Territories, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and East Timor.
